2021 Award Categories

Outstanding Company​ (less than 200 employees)

This award recognizes a company that is doing the most to accelerate gender balanced leadership in the workplace through the establishment of an environment in which employees are valued for their many differences and are not left behind or excluded because of them.

Leading Employee Network for Advancing Gender Balance

​

This award celebrates the best internal employee network that is supporting the efforts of gender balanced leadership within a company.

Best Gender Balanced CEO (less than 200 employees)

​

This award applauds the single-minded leadership of a CEO and their efforts to really champion gender balanced leadership.

Best Gender Balanced CEO (more than 200 employees)

​

This award applauds the single-minded leadership of a CEO and their efforts to really champion gender balanced leadership.

Excellence in raising the voice of Gender Balanced Leadership in the media

​

This award is aimed at a media channel or organisation that has consistently published interesting and provocative content that is helping raise visibility on the topic of gender balanced leadership.

Excellence in Gender Balanced Leadership research

​

This award recognizes a body of research that has helped to illustrate the importance of addressing gender balanced leadership in the workplace and in society at large.

Excellence in Women’s Empowerment / Excellence in creating sustainable workplace environments for women

​

This award is presented to highlight an organisation which has promoted/created an awareness of unconscious bias in the development of business operations, processes and hiring culture, through the implentation of initiatives that enable the reduction of gender bias risks.

Inspirational Gender Balanced Leader of the Year

​

This award pays tribute to an up-and-coming leader who is doing inspirational work in the area of Gender Balanced Leadership.

Excellence in Working with a Charity/Not-for-Profit Partner to Accelerate Gender Balanced Leadership

​

This award seeks to recognise an organisation that has partnered with a charity or not-for-profit who is dedicated to raising visibility and creating impact with regard to gender balanced leadership.

PWN Member(s)/City Network

​

This award showcases the activities of a PWN member or group (an individual, a working group or a City Network) who has demonstrated outstanding service to their local city network and/or the PWN Global mission, through the giving of their time, talents, and resources. The winner is chosen by PWN Global Federation Board.

Lifelong Outstanding Contribution in Advancing Gender Balanced Leadership

​

This award will be presented to a senior level individual that PWN Global wishes to honour for a lifetime of work and achievement in the area of gender balanced leadership.
